(2020) With the ongoing statewide school closures in response to COVID-19, there are many changes to graduation and course requirements for the current school year. This includes the NYS Education Department’s decisions to suspend administration of the Grades 3-8 ELA and Math assessments for the remainder of this school year as well as the cancellation of the June 2020 administration of Regents Exams in March 2020.

(2020) In this time of uncertainty, unforeseen challenges, and change, we need to learn how to be resilient, exploring ways to reduce stress as we clear the mind and calm the body. We need to be able to center in the moment and do what needs to be done–with clarity, focus, and compassion for self and others. One way to help ourselves be resilient is to practice mindfulness.
