(2021) During this session, we will talk about all things HOLA (High School Online Leadership Academy.) What can students and families expect? What is your role as a Migrant Educator in providing the best possible experience for your student during this virtual summer program? We will answer these questions, walk through the schedule together, and describe the set-up of the program. After attending this session, you will be able to help your student(s) apply online! The last 30 minutes of this session are optional for your questions.

(2021) The NYS Migrant Education Program seeks to increase capacity with migrant educators working with adolescents, 5th-12th grade students, and across staff working with in-school adolescents to apply meaningful tools to promote resilience during uncertain times.

Learn how to harness social media to reach out to the populations you serve, work to get referrals, and help spread the word about the Migrant Education Program. This presentation will share concrete ideas as to how to get started today.
