Goal Setting with Adolescent Students
(2023) This interactive, 1.5-hour discussion time is an opportunity to hear from a panel of four Migrant Educators, who work at various METS across NY State, as they share their experiences working with adolescent students and help them think about their hopes, dreams, and goals. A variety of strategies and prompts will be provided to workshop participants, helping them to engage in future goal-setting work with their adolescent students. After the panel presentations, participants will have an opportunity to discuss challenges and new ideas in breakout rooms with a community of their peers.
