Course description

This strategy helps students learn the various text structures and specific strategies for teaching English Learners how to recognize text structures.

After a demonstration, participants have time to practice sorting text according to the structures, use various graphic organizers, and write short paragraphs following specific structures.

The Reading Comprehension series includes nine modules with targeted strategies to teach students how to manage their reading. The modules can be used in any order.
