The iSOSY website has a number of resources you might use to complement the lessons in Simply Speaking as well as to support students who have finished the Simply Speaking lessons and are looking for something more advanced.
STAT Lessons: A series of lessons that can be taught in Spanish for beginner level learners, or in English for more advanced learners. Topics include Working on a Dairy Farm, Disaster Preparedness, Going to the Grocery Store, Going to the Gas Station, Staying at a Hotel, Handwashing, and more.
English for Daily Life: A series of lessons that are differentiated for beginner, immediate, and advanced level learners. Categories include Banking, Owning a Car, Emergencies, Shopping, In Your Community, and Health.
English for Working and Living: This book was created in a similar format to Simply Speaking. There are vocabulary words and phrases and short practice activities.
