Description

Join this virtual training to: 

  • Recognize many children with developmental delays and disabilities are not identified early. 
  • Find out about the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” campaign and its free resources to support families to monitor and discuss their child’s development. 
  • Understand developmental milestones for children at 18-months.  
  • Learn about how the NYS Early Intervention Program (EIP) services can help eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families.

This training is in Partnership with the NYS Office for New Americans (ONA) Ramirez June Initiative.

Dr. Romina Barros is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician who serves as the NY State CDC Act Early Ambassador and the Chief Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at the NYU Langone Long Island Hospital.
