Description
Do you have students who struggle when working with numbers? This might include operations like adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing; or working with integers, fractions, and/or decimals.
Well, there is good news because these skills CAN be taught! This year’s Number Sense Professional Development (PD) workshop targets skills from the following mathematical domains:
- Counting and Cardinality (CC) [PreK & K]
- Number and Operations in Base Ten (NBT) [grades K-5]
- Operations and Algebraic Thinking (OA) [grades PreK-5]
Join us to learn how to identify where learning gaps are and how to teach students those missing skills. Participants will practice solving problems and discuss ways to engage students in hands-on learning that is FUN too!
