Description
New staff will learn how to administer the ECA in person and virtually. Veteran staff can refresh best practices for consistent administration and data collection.
The content in this presentation is geared towards serving the migrant populations in New York State as defined under Title I, Part C and the approved State Service Delivery Plan, and may NOT be appropriate to all situations.

Migrant Educators will be able to use the 2021-22 ECA Guidance Document to
- Prepare for the ECA
- Administer the ECA
- Score & Record Student Responses

About the Presenter
Initially hired as a part-time tutor in 1983 with the Cortland METS, Mary Anne has worked in a variety of roles. At the Cortland METS, these roles included tutor, Data Specialist, Early Childhood and Parent Specialist, collaborating with grants from the Geneseo Migrant Center (HIPPY, Even Start), as well as serving as Interim Director, and a substitute Migrant Specialist. Mary Anne has participated with national Consortium Incentive Grants, from computer training in 1984 to a decade with the Math Consortium, and one year with GOSOSY. She currently works with the Technical Assistance & Support Center through SUNY Oneonta. Mary Anne has a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Reading.
