Description
During this session, we will talk about all things HOLA (High School Online Leadership Academy.) What can students and families expect? What is your role as a Migrant Educator for this virtual summer program? We will answer these questions, walk through the schedule together, and describe the set-up of the program. After attending this session, you will be able to help your student(s) apply online! The last 30 minutes are optional for your questions.

The content in this presentation is geared towards serving the migrant populations in New York State as defined under Title I, Part C and the approved State Service Delivery Plan, and may NOT be appropriate to all situations.
Objectives
- Describe the High School Online Leadership Academy
- Explain what HOLA students and their parents can expect
- Help support Migrant Educators in their recruitment efforts of students
- Frame the ongoing role of the METS in HOLA
- Show the process for completing the HOLA application online
- Provide information about the technology set up students will use to participate in HOLA.
