Description
This training is open to all MEP staff. We welcome you to join us on Thursday, November 7th as we cover all standard operating procedures for keeping migrant student data secure. We will discuss:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- The three C's of Security: secure Conduct, secure Computers, and secure Communication
- Encryption tools
- MSIX
Additionally, we will discuss how MSIX can help migratory students stay on track with their academic work as they move between schools and states, providing tips about access and use.
