WHEN
Tuesday, October 29, 2024 (2-3pm)
This support session will not be recorded.
DESCRIPTION
Are you using the Quick Phonics Screener (QPS) with students to identify specific needs in phonics? “Drop-in” to this session any time within the hour to ask questions about administering the assessment, identifying error patterns, or to seek support analyzing your results! When students have accurate and automatic word recognition skills, their reading fluency will improve and appropriately identifying error patterns can lead to more productive work-- take this step to support them!
In the meantime and if you haven't already, check out the following helpful resources:
- Watch the three-minute intro video to the QPS below.
- In 2023, we included 30 minutes of information about using the QPS at the end of our Administering the easyCBM Passage Reading Fluency (PRF) Assessment training. Start the recording at the 59-minute mark.
