Description

This event is designed to provide an opportunity to meet the members of the new NYSTEACHS Technical Assistance Center, review the provisions of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act as it relates to identification and immediate enrollment, and receive resources to support the work of Migrant Educators as they collaborate with McKinney-Vento liaisons in schools.

The content in this presentation is geared towards serving the migrant populations in New York State as defined under Title I, Part C and the approved State Service Delivery Plan, and may NOT be appropriate to all situations.
